Conditions We Treat
Compassionate, evidence based care for adults living with low mood, loss of interest or exhaustion that will not lift.
Understanding the Condition
Depression is more than occasional sadness. It can affect how you think, feel, sleep, and engage in everyday activities. Individuals may experience persistent sadness, low energy, loss of interest, or difficulty finding joy in things they once enjoyed. STS provides compassionate, evidence-based treatment to help individuals understand their experiences, develop healthy coping strategies, and work toward renewed hope and wellness.
Recognizing the Signs
These are common signs, not a diagnosis. If several have lasted two weeks or more, it is a good time to talk to someone.
If you are having thoughts of harming yourself, please call or text 988 now, or call 911. Help is available 24/7.

Your Care Journey
Your first visit is a conversation with a licensed clinician, about 60 to 90 minutes, about how you have been feeling and what you want to change. Together we build a plan that may include therapy, a step up to IOP and, if you choose, a psychiatric evaluation. Early sessions focus on small, achievable steps such as sleep, activity and connection, and we review your progress with you regularly.
Common Questions
Is it depression or just a difficult season?
If low mood, loss of interest or exhaustion have lasted two weeks or more and are affecting daily life, it is worth an assessment. We can help you understand what is happening.
Will I need medication?
Not necessarily. Many people improve with therapy alone. Medication is an option we discuss with you, and the choice is always yours.
What if therapy has not worked for me before?
That is common and it does not mean you cannot get better. A different approach, therapist or level of care often makes the difference.
Is depression treatment covered by insurance?
Many insurance plans cover outpatient therapy and IOP. We work with a growing number of plans, offer self-pay and sliding-scale fee options, and check your coverage before you start.
