Qualified Psychiatric Professionals
Insurance, Self-Pay & Sliding Scale Fees Available
Medication can be an important part of treatment, but it is never the whole plan. Our qualified psychiatric professionals review your symptoms and history, explain your options clearly and, when medication is the right choice, monitor how it is working alongside your therapy at STS.
Adults in therapy or IOP at STS whose symptoms may benefit from medication
Adults referred by a doctor or therapist for a psychiatric evaluation
Adults already taking medication who want ongoing monitoring and adjustment
Adults managing both mental health and substance use concerns
How It Works

Whole Person Care
Medication is one part of a comprehensive plan, not the entire plan. Your psychiatric care is coordinated with the rest of your team at STS.
Family, Significant Other, and Support System Involvement
At Strategic Therapeutic Solutions, we believe comprehensive behavioral health care extends beyond the individual. We actively encourage the integration of families, significant others, and identified support systems throughout the treatment process, when clinically appropriate and with the client's consent. This collaborative approach strengthens communication, promotes understanding, and supports meaningful progress toward lasting wellness and recovery.

Common Questions
Do I have to take medication?
No. Medication is always your choice. We explain the options and respect your decision.
How long is the first appointment?
About 60 minutes. Follow up visits are shorter and focus on how you are doing.
Can you work with my current doctor?
Yes. With your permission, we coordinate with your primary care provider or any other prescriber.
Do I need to be in therapy at STS?
Many people combine medication care with therapy or IOP here, which gives the most complete support. We will discuss what fits you best.
What should I bring to my first visit?
A list of your current medications, any past treatment records, a photo ID and your insurance card.
Is psychiatric care covered by insurance?
Many insurance plans cover psychiatric evaluations and follow up visits. We work with a growing number of plans, offer self-pay and sliding-scale fee options, and check your coverage first.
